Design Work for IUP's Early Childhood Education Certificate Program!

Monday

In 2020, I was given a fantastic opportunity to work with Dr. Tricia Sheldon and the OCDEL team to create a marketing campaign for IUP's Early Childhood Education Certificate program.  The campaign went public in May of this year and I was notified by this lovely shout-out on Linkedin!

Here's a look at the brochures and flyers -

I would like to express my deepest thanks and appreciation for allowing me the opportunity to work with such a wonderful team and allowing me creative freedom with the designs!

You can find out more information about the programs by clicking the links provided below.

I Earned My Design Thinking Certificate from ELL

eLearning Launch Design Thinking Certificate

On July 1st, 2021, I earned my Applied Design Thinking Certificate from eLearning Launch. This course was a fantastic mix of theory and real-world learning and I couldn't be more grateful to Myra Roldan for everything she brought to the table!  From the critical thinking group assignments to spitballing, time blocking, and prototyping...

This non-linear process is extremely helpful in tackling problems that are not well-defined or easily answered. Start by understanding the learners/users' needs, reframing the problem (How might we?), by spitballing and brainstorming to gain many ideas (Timeblocking sessions work great for this step!), and adopting a hands-on approach to prototyping and testing.  Using the design thinking process has empowered me to solve complex problems that occur when working to develop a seminar.

Here's a look into my team's design thinking process.
